Perks of the job - a custom viberg boot

It’s not everyday that you hear the words ‘yeah, we’ll make you something like that just for you!’ but fortunately one of my friends and clients happens to be Brett Viberg! Brett is the third generation book maker from the Viberg family. We have been friends and working together for a decade or more and now was my time to have a pair of boots made for me!

Brett made the jungle boot I’d seen and fallen for on the @vibergboot instagram on a wider last and kept on sending me photos and videos of the boot going through the factory. I’ve been to a few of the finest shoe making factories in Northampton to shoot, I understand and appreciate the process that goes into making every pair. Seeing your very own paid go through step by step was special. Seeing the pieces come together, amazing.

The boots arrived last week and they are fantastic! It would have to be something special to get me out of sneakers, these are they! Thank you Brett, thank you Emma, these are very special boots that mean a lot and I think will probably last me a lifetime! Really lucky.
